Punjab School Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla launched a special counseling drive for the students of government schools with an aim of guiding the children to choose higher education courses and career in future on the basis of their merits. Launching the drive from Government Senior Secondary Smart School Nadampur, Mr. Vijay Inder Singla said that a psychometric test of as many as 2,245 students studying 10th and 12th classes of all 27 Government High and Senior Secondary Schools in Sangrur constituency had been conducted to identify their potential.Mr. Vijay Inder Singla said that the leading institute in the field of education, 'Wheebox', had conducted an online Psychometric Test of the students of the constituency during the Covid pandemic. He said that on the basis of the test results, all the students were being encouraged to choose courses for higher education for a promising career. On the first day of the campaign, Education Minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla met with 60 students and their parents at Nadampur School today. On this occasion, the students and their parents were seated in different rooms keeping in view the Covid pandemic. He said that arrangements would also be made to provide coaching to the students of Government Senior Secondary Smart School Nadampur for courses like NEET.On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Sangrur Ramvir, DEO Malkit Singh Khosa, Surinder Singh Bharoor, Kuldeep Singh Bhullar and all staff of the school were present.
