Department of Environment Sciences (EVS), Government Degree College, Marh under the patronage of College Principal, Prof. Aekta, organized an event 'Display your creativity' to promote eco-friendly way of reducing the problem of polythene pollution on the occasion of World Environment Day.The theme of the event was 'Re-imagine, Recreate and Restore'.Scores of students from various streams of the College participated in the event and prepared handbags, carry bags made of cloth material.They also expressed their views on preservation of nature by making short video clips.Apart from that, the NSS Unit of the College under the supervision of Programme Officer, Satish Kumar, organized a plantation drive to celebrate the World Environment Day.The Principal of the College, Prof Aekta Gupta appreciated the enthusiasm of the students who participated in the event and gave a strong message on what can be done to save Mother Nature. The programme was organized and conducted by Prof. Anjana Chib,(HOD,EVS), Madhvi Parasher and Dr Shakun Sharma. The technical support was provided by Dr. Saqib Bashir.
