In a Major Development Police claimed averted a major tragedy after a ten Kg of( IED)Improvised Explosive Device was recovered in South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Saturday.After receiving credible inputs about the possible attack of IED by JEM, joint columns of 55 RR and JKP questioned few suspected persons which provided information about the 10kg IED hiding in orchards of Barpora village. Thus a major tragedy was averted in the Pulwama district.Taking on to the micro- blogging website Twitter, the official Twitter handle of Kashmir Police wrote, "Inputs were received that JeM was planning to carry out IED attacks which shall be spectaclur.On the bais of which few suspects were questioned and on their admission an IED wighing 10Kgs has been recovered, thus a major attack has been averted, reads the tweet.
