Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh and administrative judge, Sessions Division Barnala conducted two days annual inspection of the judicial courts.Sh. Virinder Aggarwal, Ld. District & Sessions Judge, Deputy Commissioner Sh. Tej Partap Singh Phoolka, all the judicial officers of sessions division Barnala, Sh. Sukhdev Singh Virk, SP (D), Ms. Harvant Kaur SP (H), president of the Bar Association Sh. Pankaj Bansal and other accorded a warm welcome to the visiting dignitary.The Barnala police gave guard of honour to the visiting dignitary. During the inspection, Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul inspected the working of the courts, interacted with the lawyers and listened to their grievances. She also addressed office bearers of the District Bar Association (DBA) and sought their cooperation in fast disposal of cases. During the inspection, record, work done etc of all the respective civil and criminal courts were checked and necessary directions were given to the officials.

Hon'ble Judge also checked record room, copying agency and malkhana of judicial courts. Thereafter, Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul held a meeting with all the Judicial Officers posted in the division and inspired them to keep doing their work with utmost honesty, sincerity and humbleness.During the inspection, Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul also visited Crèche/Child Care Room Barnala. She said that such like day care centres will be opened in near future in other districts also so that parents who are working at District Court could leave their children there. The main motive behind the opening of the Kids Daycare Centre is that working officers, officials and parties who came to courts to attend their cases, can send their children there during their busy schedule. She also expressed keen interest in the working of mediation and conciliation centre and stated that judicial officers should refer maximum cases to the mediation, so that cases can be amicably settled between parties leaving no feeling of ill will and animosity and both parties are left in win-win position.
