President of J&K BJP Ravinder Raina on Monday inaugurated ‘Life Style Trade Fair’ at Gole Market in Gandhi Nagar area.Vice president of J&K BJP Yudhvir Sethi and J&K UT President of All J&K Panchayat Conference, (AJKPC) Anil Sharma were also present on the occasion. Adminstrator Auqaf Islamia, Mudassir Iqbal and Rakesh Bajrangi was also present during inauguration of the fair at Gandhi Nagar.Mr Raina along with Sethi, Anil Sharma and Musassir Iqbal also went round all the stalls installed by the local as well as outside state traders and appreciated the efforts of the organizers for providing an alternate recreation space to local people. They evinced his keen interest adding that such Melas prove beneficial for the people.While interacting with traders, Raina asked the unemployed youth of the J&K to avail optimum benefits of various employment generated schemes launched by the government for their socio-economic upliftment.He called for a change in the mindset of the unemployed youth to become job providers instead of job seekers. “It is high time for unemployed youth to taka benefits of different Union Territory (UT) and centrally sponsored schemes,”, he said. Raina exhorted that the Union Government has taken up many initiatives and schemes to promote small scale industries besides other businesses so that most of the educated youth can grab the job opportunities and it will help the Government in resolving the issue of unemployment.He impressed upon officers present in the Mela to ensure that benefits of various development and welfare schemes reach the real beneficiaries timely.He said that such Melas should be a regular feature to provide a platform to the entrepreneurs to sell their products and share their expertise as well with the first hand entrepreneurs.
