A Youth From South Kashmiri's Pulwama district bags Gold Medal in winter games of Khelo India 2021 in Gulmarg.Asif Aziz 27 year old youth Hails from Arihal of Pulwama takes home 3rd gold medal in Khelo India for his outstanding performance in skiing in winter games in Gulmarg.He has won many medals so far in several snow ski competitions earlier and has two gold medals Senior National Championships one in khelo India winter Games.Asif while talking to 5 Dariya News “It was a pleasure for me to be honored with 3rd gold medal in Alpine Ski. I’m so grateful to my parents as well as High Altitude Warfare School, Gulmarg for their contribution and support,” I have participated in three Senior National Alpine Ski Championship, which was held in Manali and Auli in year 2019 & 2020.This year winter games of Khelo India, at Gulmarg witnessed participation of 27 States and Union Territories across India in which more 1200 athletesfrom different parts of the Country where J&K bagged 11 gold, 18 silver and 5 bronze. Principal secretary Youth Services and Sports, Alok Kumar, Major General RK Singh, Commandant High altitude Warfare school Gulmarg, Director Tourism G. N. Itoo, Secretary J&K Sports Council Nuzhat Gull and other officials from civil and police administration were present during the concluding ceremony of the khelo event.I urged youngesters to take part in adventure sports, as it contribute to have positive psychological outcomes and keep you fit and trim, which keeps your heart and body healthy asif said.
