GDC Marh hosts medical camp cum workshop on “Health and Hygiene among Adolescents”

Government Degree College, Marh today organized one day medical camp and awareness programme on “health and Hygiene among Adolescents”.The programme started with the welcome address by the Principal, Prof Aekta Gupta, who said the adolescence is the important time for laying the foundation of good health and personality. She applauded the role of BMO Dr. M.L. Rana and other doctors for sparing their time and rendering their services for College students. She said expanding such opportunities is key to responding to adolescent specific needs and rights.An interactive session with girl students was arranged in which Dr. Sashi Bala, Dr. Anjali Saini and Dr. Tanvi Gupta discussed in detail about various issues of women health and well being.In the medical the camp, Blood Grouping and General health Checkup was also done and medicines were also given to students. The programme was hosted by NSS and Red-Ribbon Club and attended by all staff members and students. The appreciation certificates and mementoes were presented to the team of doctors as a token of respect in the presence of Prof Aekta Gupta.  The proceedings of the programme was conducted by Dr. Balwinder Saini.
