Awantipora Police today organised Rally Cum awareness programme about "ill effects of drug abuse on the society" at Police Station Awantipora as a part of ongoing Anti Drug Drive week 15 to 22th December 2020. Awareness programme was attended by the respectable Citizens from the Reshipora area which is mostly narcotic affected. SDPO Awantipora,SHO Awantipora and Chowki Officer Reshipora had a detailed interaction with the public during the said awareness programme. After the interaction during awareness programme at Police Station,a rally was organized by Police to generate awareness against drug abuse and its ill effects on the society.The rally was held from Police Station Awantipora to IUST crossing Awantipora headed by SDPO Awantipora.On this occasion general public emphasised role of Police and suggested to conduct such seminars/rallies in future also so that the drug menace is eradicated.
