Brahm Mohindra launched web portal for Punjab Shehri Awas Yojna

Aiming to provide maximum benefits to the applicants of Punjab Shehri Awas Yojna, Local Government Minister Mr. Brahm Mohindra today launched a web portal.Disclosing this here today  Brahm Mohindra said that the Punjab Government was committed to provide financial assistance to the needy people for the construction of houses under the Punjab Shehri Awas Yojna. With a view to expedite the process, a new web portal pmidcprojects.punjab.gov.in/pmay has been launched. He said that this portal is available in both Punjabi and English languages. This will help the applicants to avail the benefits of this scheme immediately.The Local Government Minister further said that so far the Punjab Government has sanctioned 96,383 houses under this scheme out of which 28,466 houses have been already completed and the remaining houses are under construction. He said that in the second phase a target of 1.5 lakh houses has been set.Secretary Local Government, Mr. Ajoy Kumar Sinha, Director Mr. Bhupinder Singh and other senior officers were also present on the event.
