FC Revenue Dr. Pawan Kotwal reviews updation, digitization of Jammabandies in Jammu District

Financial Commissioner Revenue, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, today reviewed tehsil wise progress of  updation and digitization of Jammabandis in district Jammu under the ongoing project Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP), here at a  meeting of the revenue officers.Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Sushma Chauhan apprised the Financial Commissioner, Revenue, that against the   915 Jammabandies in the district, 623 have been updated so far.Besides, 129 Jamabandies are also ready and require verification by the concerned patwaris/ Girdawars. She further informed that 151 Jammabandies have been digitized, while the remaining 472 are in process of digitization.Dr. Pawan Kotwal, emphasized upon the Deputy Commissioner, and Regional Director S&L Jammu, to monitor the process closely by keeping in touch with the concerned Revenue officials to complete the Jammabandies and their digitization within a week’s time. He further stressed   on coming up with error free Jammabandies.
