BJYM Chandigarh under the leadership of its newly appointed State President Vijay Rana organised a Virtual Yuva Sammelan through Webex & Facebook. The Yuva Sammelan started with paying tributes to the sacrifice of brave soldiers who laid their life for motherland India in Galwan valley. In this unique initiative of the BJYM, BJP National Council Member Sanjay Tandon addressed thousands of BJYM workers.BJP National Council Member Sanjay Tandon said that the massive mandate given by the country to NDA 2.0 has strengthened the commitment of the Modi government to accelerate the policy implementation & developmental works. Under the Modi 2.0, India has become 5th largest economy worldwide. The intense foreign policy has helped build cordial relations with different powers across the world while strengthening the sovereignty & integrity of our country. The results of which are visible as India has been successful in isolating Pakistan & China globally. The trust among the citizens is all time high that the present leadership under Narendra Modi will not let anyone to trespass on an inch of India’s territory and our forces are determined to retaliate strongly. India has shrugged off its image of a soft defensive state. The Surgical strikes, Air strikes in PoK, Doklam Standoff, release of Wing Commander Abhinandan within 3 days and recent offensive retaliation to China in Galwan valley have given a strong message to the world.Sanjay Tandon further said that the biggest achievement of Narendra Modi Government is to give a corruption-free, scandal-free & scam-free government. The initiatives of Swachh Bharat & encouraging Yoga have been trendsetters globally. About more than 150 countries of the world have started celebrating International Yoga Day on 21st June every year, on one appeal by our Prime minister Narendra Modi. Introduction of GST has been biggest tax revolution since independence moving towards ‘One Nation One Tax’.
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna, Krishi Sinchai Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojna, and Sukanya Samridhi Yojna have been able to directly focus on the rural & marginalised population. With Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic hitting the entire world, the government has tried to help the citizens overcome the economic hardships. The government unveiled its plan to give relief to every section of the society and ensure liquidity in the market. The Rs 20 lakh Crore package has been appreciated both for its breadth and depth as it is a blend of short term relief and long term measures which will propel India to be an economically self reliant. The government has introduced free agriculture market for the farmers to get the best price for their produce.Giving his maiden address, BJYM State President Vijay Rana appealed Yuva Morcha workers to start awareness campaigns regarding Atam Nirbhar Bharat & encouraging people to boycott Chinese goods. He said that BJYM is known for fighting on the forefront. He said the BJYM organised about a dozen of blood donation camps at PGI, GMCH-32 & across the city and distributed food, ration, masks & sanitizers during the lockdown period. He said that the youth of country stand with our Prime Minister for his strong commitment and comprehensive vision.BJYM Chandigarh workers from State, District & Mandal level were joined via Cisco Webex App, while a large number of other people joined through the official Facebook pages of BJP Chandigarh & BJYM Chandigarh. BJP Secretary Amit Rana was also present on this occasion.
