Hospital Development Fund (HDF) employees staged a peaceful protest outside District Hospital Shopian and pressed for their genuine demands and issues on daily basis.While  talking to News agency said, "we have been working since long and we have been demanding regularisation of our services from time and again," he said.Other employees who  were protesting for their rights said that there should be implementation of minimum wages act, besides the release of remuneration and wages in favour of those engaged after  17-03-2015.They further their demand for wages should be drawn from government treasury.Meanwhile, social and youth activist, advocate Owais Khan pacified them and  requested government to consider their requests."These employees are working day in and day out and my request to government is that their demands be considered at an  earliest, so that they and their families won't suffer anymore."While praising their work they are doing, Khan added, "We should respect our employees and specially those linked  with hospitals, keeping in view their dedication and commitment towards the Covid free J&K," he added.
