Delhi Public School Kathua, organised its 7th Annual Day fuelled up with the theme Individually we are different, but together we are a masterpiece.”The theme depicts the celebration of the glorious heritage of our Motherland and the legacy of values and compassion for each other.The programme commenced with Lamp Lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.The students showcased their talent through various performances to include Saraswati Vandana, welcome dance, classical dance on the notes of Hip-Hop, Duggar dance, Punjabi folk dance etc. The programme was based on unity, pride, heritage and prevailing scenario. Chief Guest Sher-e-Dugger Choudhary Lal Singh ji applauded the mellifluous music and mesmerizing performances,and further stressed on this annual meet which he believes,is the perfect stage for acknowledging the deserving students on account of accolades they bring for the institution in the presence of their guardians.
Nirmal Mahna, Principal, Delhi Public School Kathua read the school report of academic year 2017-2018 to the gathering. She apprised about unprecedented laurels achieved by school at National and International levels.Speaking on the occasion, She lauded the vision of DPS Kathua to provide holistic development to every student. Shee advised the students to follow P-3 formula, which is, Planning, Preparation and Presentation, that will help them excel in every situation.The vote of thanks was attributed by the school Vice Principal, Ms Manmita Das Raina.The programme was culminated with determined and delightful School Song. Eventually, the curtains fell and the heads were high with National Anthem.
