Dhruv Dahiya IPS, SSP/Khanna has disclosed by a press Conference that they have started a special campaign against the Drug Trafficking & misdemeanors, during this campaign Khanna Police has achieved a great success today i.e. 02.11.18, under the guidelines of Sh. Jasvir Singh, PPS. SP/I/Khanna, Sh. Jagwinder Singh, PPS. DSP/I/Khanna, Sh Harsimrat Singh, PPS, DSP/Samrala, Insp. Manjit Singh SHO/Samrala, ASI Balwant Singh alongwith police party were set up the Nakabandi opposite PP/Hedon & were checking the suspected vehicles/persons. During the checking, a Alto Car no. UP-25-CH-0849 was coming from the Khamano side. Police party stopped the Car, the Car occupants was identified as Sukhbir Singh S/o Rampal Singh R/o Pandera PS/Fatehganj now at Pandera Road Faridpur Distt. Bareily (UP) & his accomplice was identified as Manoj Kumar S/o Rajpal R/o Chutmuri Tehsil SadulaGanj Dsitt. Badayun (UP). ASI Balwant Singh called Sh. Harsimrat Singh PPS, DSP/Samrala on the spot for the frisking of above said persons.During frisking, 5 kgs of opium was recovered, 2 kg 500 gms opium from the possession of Sukhbir Singh & 2 kg 500 gms opium from the possession of Manoj Kumar. A case FIR No. , Dt. 02.11.18 U/S 18/61/85 NDPS Act & 190 (2), 192, 196 M.V. Act PS/Samrala has been registered & arrested the accused. The culprits are still being questioned & there is a possibility of major disclosures.
