Gian Jyoti Institute of management & Technology, Phase 2 organised a yoga camp at its campus to embrace the age-old discipline of yoga with a slew of activities ranging from physical, mental and spiritual exercises to mark the first International Yoga Day. After pranayam and exercise session, the importance of basic exercises and aasanas were taught. Meditation exercises were demonstrated and the benefits of mediation were also told at the moment to make younger generations grow stronger physically and mentally by practicing its various asanas and have its vast knowledge to empower themselves.While speaking at the moment Chairman, Gain Jyoti Group J.S.Bedi said that Yoga offers multiple health benefits. It is instrumental in energy management. It keeps our energy levels up and balanced. It also helps in improving breath quality, lowering stress and cortisol levels, helping you maintain peace. Even inter personal relationships and communication improves. Physically one feels more flexible, stronger and gain stamina. He further added that the main objective of arranging this camp was to promote the importance of physical fitness among students in sedentary lifestyle.
