Deputy Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmed Gurezi who is also president of ST, SC and OBC forum today chaired a meeting of MLAs of SC, ST and OBC Categories to discuss reservation in promotions of SC, ST and OBC Categories in the state.The meeting was also attended by the Minister for Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Abdul Ghani Kohli, Minister for Cooperative and Ladakh Affairs, Chering Dorjay, MLA, Mumtaz Ahmed Khan and others.Earlier the forum also met Minister for Horticulture, Law, Justice and Parliament Affairs, Syed Basharat Bukhari to highlight the grievances of the downtrodden and suppressed classes especially SC and ST castes living in Jammu and Kashmir .The Minister assured the forum that the issues will be taken up with concerned authorities and looked into on priority.
