The march was joined by around 200 students & parents of the school. She further added that the candle light vigil and march was to express solidarity and empathy with Asifa's parents and family and seek prompt and just judicial intervention to punish. The inhuman miscreants in the strictest interpretation of the legal system. One of the Parent at the moment informed that change in the mindsets of the people is required .It is not an issue of Hindu or Muslim culprits, it is a matter of safety and security of women in this country. We should come together, irrespective of our religions and raise our voice to demand for only justice. Another parent said that we have come here because we have girls in our families who do not feel safe when they step out of the home.
