Chief Secretary Punjab Launches Maiden Book Of Amritsar Based Young Author Simran Singh

The Punjab Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh today launched a maiden book of an Amritsar based young author, Simran Singh titled ‘Does love ever end?’The book was launched in the presence of noted authors Vivek Atray and Khushwant Singh, in a function organised at UT guest house. Appreciating the initiative taken by the young author from the holy city Amritsar, the Chief Secretary said that at this young age, she has embarked upon a long journey and hoped that we would soon see a sequel of this book.He said that, youngsters in this era, were not confining themselves to old professions but were willing to take risks to fulfil their aspirations. He said that it was a matter of great pride that youth from Punjab were looking into futuristic professions and days were not far off when they would become torch bearer in the field of start up's. Authors, writers and intellectuals of the tricity and punjab besides senior civil police and judicial officers from the region were present on the occasion.
