Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today appointed prominent social worker S Harbans Singh Chennai as President of the Tamil Nadu unit of the SAD.Disclosing this here today, the SAD president said S Harbans Singh was also President of the Sikh Dharam Parchar Committee, Chennai under whose aegis he was spreading awareness about Sikhism and ensuring the youth remained committed to their religion. The SAD president asked the new Tamil Nadu unit chief to make his team and start party work in the Southern State immediately.
