On the auspicious occasion of 151st Birth Anniversary of Late Hans Raj Mahajan a great social reformer and foundation member of Mahajan Sabha, Dogra Saddar Sabha and Kashapp Rajput Sabha a function was organised today at Abhinav Theatre by Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta Foundation. The Foundation distributed first Rudra Awards among various categories who have achieved excellence in the field of Science & Technology, Education & Research, Sports, Art & Culture, Journalism and Social Services. Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, Minister for Industries & Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga, MP, Jugal Kishor Sharma, Political leader Avinash Rai Khanna spoke on the occasion and highlighted the role of Prof Chaman Lal Gupta Foundation for their active role in providing educational charitable assistance to weaker sections of the society. They also appreciated the initiative of the foundation and stressed for the need to strengthening of such charitable institutions which bring in light the hidden flair of youth from the different sections of the society.
