MLAs, Ajaz Ahmad Khan and Haji Mumtaz Ahmad Khan today laid foundation stone for construction work of two roads at Jij.The 18.75 kilometer Garhi-Jij Baghli road and 9.90 kilometer Gundi-Panasa road will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 7.2 crore and Rs.4.45 crore respectively to provide road connectivity to thousands of people living along these villages of Gool Arnas and GulabGarh constituency respectively. These roads will be constructed under PMGSY. After laying foundation stone for duel road projects, both MLAs held a Public grievances redressal camp at Ghari, Block Jij in which besides officials of various departments large number of people were present.During the camp, the people projected several issues related to basic facilities like water supply, uninterrupted power supply, electrification of uncovered areas, shortage of staff in Health and Education sector, more road projects and up gradation of existing roads besides proper vaccination of the live stocks etc.The MLAs instructed the officers for early resolution of all major issues and public demands.
