DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range Ashkoor Ahmed Wani today inaugurated a Volley Ball tournament at Boys Higher Secondary School Akhnoor organized by Range Police Headquarters Jammu under Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2016 -17 in memory of Shaheed Dy. SP Gulbadan Singh Bhau.On this occasion SSP Jammu Sunil Gupta, CO 10 INF Div Signal Regiment Arun Deep Singh Kang, SSP Rajnesh Pran SO to DIG JSK Range Jammu, senior officers of BSF ,SP Rural Jammu Arun Gupta , ASP Gurinderpal Singh IPS, SDPO Akhnoor, besides SHO's and I/C PPs of Sub Division Akhnoor along with prominent citizens of civil society were also present.This sports event was organized to connect the youth with the police to keep them away from social evil like drugs and to strengthen close police public relations.In the inaugural match Volley Ball club Pallanwala defeated Volleyball club Dehrian while another match was won by Kameshwar club Akhnoor defeating volleyball club Jourian in a neck to neck fight. The third match was won by volleyball club Dhanuu defeating volleyball club Bhagani, volleyball club Chowki Chowra defeated volleyball club GDC Akhnoor while Kameshwar club Akhnoor defeated Bhalwal club in the final match of the tournament.
