Hitting People’s Democratic Party left right centre, National Conference Friday said that the founder of this party eroded the Jammu and Kashmir Constitution and left no stone unturned in enslaving the people of Valley.Addressing party workers at Sher-i-Kashmir Bhavan Jammu, senior National Conference leader Dr. Sheikh Mutafa Kamal said that late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed who was part of the Syed Qasim government in Jammu and Kashmir completely eroded the special status of Jammu Kashmir. “These people on the behest of India made people slaves and played a cardinal role in integrating J&K with India,” he said. Kamal according to news agency CNS said that Jammu Kashmir was having its own constitution, own judicial system, own election commission and even Indian required passport to enter into our territories.
“The Indian stooges for sake of power and comfort befooled people and helped India to erode our autonomy and special status,” he said.Kamal said that the incumbent state government or Government of India will not be allowed to amend the Panchayat Act or the Constitution of Jammu of Kashmir because freedom loving people have laid their lives to put an end to autocracy. “History is witness to the fact that late Mufti Sayeed was part of the plan that enabled India to change the status of our Prime Minister to Chief Minister and Sadre Riyasat to Governor. The Indian stooges encouraged Government of India to implement black and draconian laws in Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian puppets here also helped India to turn Kashmir into an army garrison,” Kamal said and added that the present government in J&K has been running on the instructions of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
