Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today declared Upkar Singh Sandhu as party Candidate for Amritsar Lok Sabha by-poll.Sandhu (63) is former District President of SAD, Amritsar, His educational Quaification is MA (Political Science). He is also former Chairman of Punjab Energy Development Agency.Sandhu resigned from SAD in protest against the incidents of Sacrilege of Shri Guru Granth Sahib and failure of State Government to crack down the cases.He always dared to be vocal against corruption in spite of being part of Shiomani Akali Dal.
