Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday accused Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal of misusing the public exchequer in releasing grants for house repair in Lambi constituency represented by CM. Aam Aadmi Party Co-Incharge and Candidate from Lambi, Jarnail Singh in a press release said that Badal is trying to woo the voters by distributing grants in the assembly.Jarnail Singh said that grant of 15000 each for house repair purpose was given to the 564 households in Singhewala but as per the voter list the total houses in village are 372. So money allotted for 192 houses was embezzled by Akali leaders.“Till now we have got information regarding a single village and if it is investigated in whole state and the same found in even 200 villages then the scam will reach up to Rs. 57 Crores.” said Jarnail.
He said that this is not the first time that Badals have misused the public money but the state exchequer has been looted by Badals on the name of public welfare schemes.This can’t be possible without the patronage of Badal family as the administrative work is being done by the Jathedars appointed by Badals” Jarnail said. He demanded CBI probe in the matter.Jarnail Singh said that apart from it the Badal family is running the sand, land, transport, cable and liquor mafia in state. The people of state are ready to uproot the corrupt system of Badals in 2017 and government of people will replace the corrupt system. He said that after formation of AAP government in state the scams of Badals will thoroughly investigated and accused will be put behind bars.
