Senior Journalist Major Singh today joined Aam Aadmi Party at Chandigarh in the presence of AAP National Leader and Incharge, Sanjay Singh, AAP Punjab Convener, Sucha Singh Chhotepur, National organizational building head, Durgesh Pathak and other leaders. Singh worked with a number of vernacular newspapers and was working with ‘Daily Ajit’ before joining the party.Welcoming Major Singh in party fold, Sanjay Singh Said that journalist are the important part of any society and play a vital role in awakening the masses about the issues concerned. He said that in the past as well many renowned journalists have joined the party, which has given strength to the revolution initiated by Arvind Kejriwal.
Expressing happiness over his new inning of life, Major Singh Said that as a journalist, he has always worked for the betterment of the society through his writings and it is the time to serve the society in a different capacity. He said that he will give suggestions to party on the basis of his journalistic experiences.The other leaders who were present during the function included Kanwar Sandhu, Himmat Shergill, Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi, Harjot Singh Bains, Kultar Singh, Jagtar Singh Sanghera, R.R. Bhardwaj, Boota Singh Ashant and Karan Tiwana.
