The Millennium School Phase 5 organised dental check-up camp & seminar on fruits and vegetables which improves children's nutrition, help prevent obesity even in sedentary life style and may boost school performance. Children were motivated to eat more and more fruits and vegetables as being growing bodies they require good nutrition. Fruits and vegetables contain a multitude of vitamins, minerals and other healthy compounds. Later, students were also informed about the importance of the fruits and vegetables one by one.
While encouraging students to eat fruits and vegetables instead of sugary snacks and fat-laden fast food Director, Millennium School Gurvinder Singh motivated them to adopt healthy eating habits along with outdoor games to stay fit & fiddle .According to him high-fiber foods, such as fruits and vegetables, help the digestive system function properly. Five portions of fruit and vegetables a day are enough to keep disease at bay and help us to live longer. He further added that it is high time to impart importance of food to children for healthy change in life .
