Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized Blood Donation Camp here at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Morinda, in which as many as 168 Volunteers donated blood, including 16 women. It is the ongoing chain of annual blood donation camps as per the directions of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj.This camp was inaugurated by Dr. B. S. Cheema, Zonal Incharge, Sant Nirankari Mandal, Chandigarh Zone. Appreciating the donors, Dr. Cheema said that blood donation is a natural proof of human oneness and cosmic unity. He added that human blood has no substitute therefore it is a gift of Almighty God. This blood would save many sick people and endow them good health. Dr. Cheema further said that the premier social welfare originations of the town are highly appreciative of the spirit of the Nirankari Mission devotees of how and always they gleefully and gratefully offer themselves for the donation.Initially the camps were held during the summer season i.e. from April to September, but from 2009 onwards these camps are being organized throughout the year. This Camp was held under the guidance of Inder Mohan Gulati ,Mukhi Morinda Branch,& subhkaran ji khashitrya sanchalk Ropar with the help of Nirankari Sewadal volunteers and Sadhsangat .He said that blood donation is one of the important events of the Nirankari mission. A Team of doctors and other staff led by Dr.Ponam Sector 32 GMCH & Dr. Ravpreet General Hospital Sec.16 Chandigarh, conducted the blood donation camp.
