2 lacs 33 thousand traders in the state will get benefited by Bhagat Pooran Singh Health Insurance Plan and free treatment facility worth Rs. 50 thousand at reputed Govt. & Non-Govt. hospitals could be availed by 8 thousand small trader of district SAS nagar under the Plan. This was stated by Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sh. N.K.Sharma while addressing the district level function at Palm Resort Zirakpur and also distributed smart cards to traders under Bhagat Pooran Singh Health Insurance Plan.
Sh. Sharma said that economical strength of a state depends on the traders' community. If traders' community of a state is happy then entire state will be prosperous. He said that free treatment facility has been provided under Bhagat Pooran Singh Health Insurance Plan. Besides this, the Plan also ensures risk cover of Rs. 5 lacs in case of sudden death due to accident and also ensures insurance of Rs. 5 lacs in case of any mishap/ loss of material due to fire etc. Sh. Sharma said that under Bhagat Pooran Singh Health Insurance Plan Govt. has paid the premium and started health insurance for the traders, farmers, Blue card holders, labourers and Govt. officials, which will provide benefit to 45 lacs families. He said that Govt. has implemented the welfare schemes for traders in true spirit. Sh. Sharma said that Food Processing Industry has been made 100% tax free in the state.
Sh. Sharma said that SAD+BJP Govt. is the only well-wisher Govt. for the public which is always eager for development and public welfare to all cadres of the society. He said that Punjab is the only state where Bhagat Pooran Singh Health Insurance Plan has been implemented by the Govt. Lashing on Aam Adami PArty & on Congress, he said that despite ruling for since long Congress has never started any wellfare scheme and has never taken interest towards development of the state, whereas Aam Adami Party is also misguiding the public of punjab and has shown its real face. He said that there is no surplus water in Punjab. He said that IT City being established in Mohali will provide employment opportunities to 8 lacs persons in the state. He said that due to unending efforts of present Govt. various development works are being carried out all over the state. All main cities are being provided 4 lane roads & are being connected with 6 lane roads.
During this Assistant Excise & Taxation Commissioner Smt. Baldeep Kaur, Member SGPC S. Nirmail Singh Jaula, Member District Excise & Taxation Committee Sh.
