Rahul Sharma of Dharrubal, Mandi and Roshan lal of Arki ,Solan took top positions in arts group of +2 in Board of school Himachal results by securing 471/500 marks.  Tammanna Koushal of Dharamshala decclared on top in commerce ,who secured 482/500 marks and Suvrat Sharma of Hamirpur got the top position in science group by securing 492/500 marks.The results of ten plus two examination held in March 2016, of the regular candidates and those who appeared for compartment and improvement thereof, has been declared on Monday in Dharamshala .In a written communiqué here today, Chairman Himachal Pradesh Board of School education, Balbir Tegta said that out of total 101104 candidates who had appeared in the examination 79411 candidates have passed the examination successfully whereas 14299 candidates had compartment.He said that the overall result was 78.93 percent which was 10.29 percent more than the last year’s result percentage, which was around 68.64% in 2015.

 Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh congratulated the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education for coming out with the result within 25 days and said that the better result performance was due to the maintenance of high standard of education by the government in schools. He said that that state education board was one of the first such board in the country to compile and declare the results within the minimum possible time and appreciated the efforts of the staff.Meanwhile, Secretary of the Board, Shravan Manta said that the candidates who want to get revaluation of their papers done may submit online, a sum of Rs 400 hundred as re-evalution fee for per answer sheet and Rs. 300 hundred per answer sheet for re-checking by 9th May 2016 through principals of their respective schools. He said that off-line applications won’t be entertained.He said that the candidates who got compartment can appear for the re-examinations to be held in June 2016. Such candidates should apply online within a month from the date of declaration of the result.
