Slathia launches various development works at Vijaypur

Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur, Surjeet Singh Slathia today inaugurated newly constructed Lanes and drains from National Highway to Ward No. 7 & 8. He also laid foundation stone for construction of lanes and drains in Ward No. 5, 9 and 11 in Vijaypur. The total expenditure of Rs.40 lakh shall be incurred on these works and other pending lanes and drains which shall be constructed under the scheme IDMT through Municipal Committee, Vijaypur. By construction of these works the people of the area and adjoining villages shall be benefited.Later, Slathia addressed a public meeting in village Marhoon in Vijaypur constituency. He listened the grievances of the people and assured them for early redressal of their demands. He asked the people to strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah for further development of the State. Among panches and sarpanches various officers of different departments were also present on the occasion.
