In order to fulfill his poll promises among the public and to ensure the availability of government machinery at people's door step former minister and member legislative assembly Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani along with the all officials of Tehsil and district administration held one day public Darbar at Bus stand Pogal here today and announced Rs five lakhs out of his constituency development fund for construction of food store for dumping of ration at Pogal MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani also release funds for the creation of 25 kv transformer at kilwagan and 63 kv upgradation of Nora Pogal transformer on public demand.During the public darbar people from Pogal, Maligam and other adjoining areas projected their genuine demands before the MLA Banihal and apprised him for their early redressal which includes funds for improvement and upgradation of local power structure, immediate sanctioning of pipes for hassle free water to uncovered and affected habitation, starting of works under MGNREGA plan, shifting of ambulance sanctioned under CDF from ukerhal to pogal and various other problems of this backward region.
After hearing their problems MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani directed the concerned officers to settle down these issues priority bases and also urged upon the HOD's of theses deptts to be stationed in the area and find out the problems and redress them before coming winter.MLA Banihal also ensure the presentation of various Social Welfare schemes by the District officers of Social Welfare Deptt and assistant labour and requested to public to take benefit of theses welfare schemes.In his detailed address to the public darbar MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani said that he is committed to fulfill the every election time commitment with the public.He added that Pogal Paristan is the most backward and hilly region of his constituency and the prime attention of his representation is to improve basis amenities of the public here.Various among others SDM Ramsu, Asstt Labour Commissioner Ramban, Distt Social Welfare officer Ramban, Executive Engineer Pwd and PMGSY Tehsildar Ukerhal and other officials of Tehsil administration including field staff were also present in this massive public Darbar.
