Describing television and theatre as a powerful media that creates instant impact in the society, Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed,Sunday, called upon the leading players in the field of Performing Arts to set up a ‘School of Acting & Drama’, tailor-made for a new generation of performers and storytellers who share a passion to learn the nitty-gritty of filmmaking. He said the State government is determined to promote and support artistic activities, which are intrinsically linked to our culture and heritage.“Government at best can play the role of a facilitator.
