A delegation of AAP leaders lead by Aam Aadmi Party Convener, Suchha Singh Chottepur today met the victim family of Dalit youth killed at Akali leader’s farmhouse at Ahohar. Suchha Singh Chottepur said that the law and order situation in Punjab is worst than Syria and Akali leaders have beaten ISIS in atrocities. He said that the police whose duty is to protect the common man is registering false cases on the command of their political gurus. He fears that the present environment in Punjab is going to destroy the harmony among the different communities.
Showing solidarity with the victim family Aam Aadmi Party leaders said that the party will raise the issue at every level. Chottepur said that desired help in the process of getting justice will be provided to the family. He warned Police to stop giving patronage to the criminals and provide justice to the victim family. The party also cautioned the police to arrest Main accused Shiv Lal Doda and his nephew Amit Doda failing to which AAP leaders will hold a dharna in to get the justice to victim family. Aam Aadmi Party provided financial help of Rs. 1 Lac to the victim family.
