In this information age, smart technologies play an important role in how people work, take decisions and implements plans. Schools and colleges which encourage technology integration in educational instructions can make a difference to the lives of young children who move into the real world with varied skills that they learn in the process of their schooling. Using technologies, accessing information and creating information is one such skill that gives a cutting edge to the children of this generation to compete in dynamic and challenging world.In keeping with this perspicacity, Yadavindra Public School, Mohali hosted the Inter School Information Technology Fest 2015 here today.
The schedule that would be followed during the Fest included competition in various events like Power Point Presentation, Brochure Designing and Java Programming.Nine teams of the tri-city participated in this Fest. The participating teams were from Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula; Manav Mangal Smart School; Ryan International School; Saupin’s School; St. John’s High School; St. Xavier’s Senior Secondary School; Strawberry Fields High School; The Gurukul and the host school Yadavindra Public School, Mohali.
