Sadhotra reviews dev works at Rajouri

Minister for Planning, Ajay Sadhotra, today had an officers meeting at Rajouri to review the progress on various development projects in the district.District Development Commissioner Rajouri and other district officers attended the meeting.During the meeting, the Minister took stock of ongoing development works being executed under different sectors and exhorted upon the officers and executing agencies to work in coordination for timely and quality completion of these vital works in the district. He also exhorted upon the people to extend their cooperation to the executing agencies for smooth and successful implementation of development programmes in the district.It was informed in the meeting that the road from Rajouri to Bufliaz, (Mughal Road) would be made functional soon.Various other issues deliberated in the meeting included upgradation of Hamilton bridge to double lane plate girder decking in view of declaration of bridge as unsafe, requirement of balance matching  state share for different schemes under NABARD and RIDF XIB to XBIII,  release of funds for clearance of forest land, house compensation cases of R&B department and construction of community hall in district Rajouri.The District Development Commissioner presented a detail description of status of various development and other welfare programmes besides highlighting the achievements of current financial year under district plan.
