हरियाणा के पूर्व गृह एवं स्वास्थ्य मंत्री तथा अम्बाला छावनी विधायक श्री अनिल विज ने कहा कि शहीद स्मारक में आर्ट वर्क के कार्य को जल्द प्रारंभ किया जाए, आर्ट वर्क को बेहतरीन तरीके से प्रदर्शित किया जाए ताकि जो इसे देखे वह वर्तमान भूलकर सन् 1857 में पहुंच जाए। श्री विज आज दोपहर अम्बाला छावनी में जीटी रोड सन् 1857 में आजादी की पहली लड़ाई को समर्पित निर्माणाधीन शहीद स्मारक में निरीक्षण के दौरान अधिकारियों व निर्माण एजेंसी के प्रतिनिधियों से बातचीत कर रहे थे।
उन्होंने निरीक्षण के दौरान स्मारक में सिविल वर्क का निरीक्षण करते हुए स्मारक में म्यूजियम, डेढ़ सौ फुट ऊंचे मेमोरियल टॉवर, स्मारक में मल्टीलेवल पार्किंग, वॉटर बॉडीज, एट्रेंस हॉल एवं स्मारक के अन्य हिस्सों का निरीक्षण किया और अधिकारियों को दिशा-निर्देश दिए।
उन्होंने अधिकारियों से आर्ट वर्क को लेकर चर्चा की और स्मारक में इतिहास प्रदर्शित करने के लिए गठित की गई इतिहासकारों की टीम से चर्चा करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि स्मारक में आर्ट वर्क का प्रदर्शन अच्छा होना चाहिए। सन 1857 क्रांति के समय जैसा परिदृश्य था ठीक वैसा ही स्मारक में प्रदर्शित होना चाहिए। उन्होंने स्मारक में फूड कोर्ट को अलॉटमेंट करने की प्रक्रिया को भी प्रारंभ कराने के निर्देश दिए।
इस अवसर पर पीडब्ल्यूडी के एक्सईएन रितेश अग्रवाल, भाजपा नेता ललित चौधरी, संजीव सोनी, रवि सरन सहित अन्य मौजूद रहे।
स्मारक में यह होगा आकर्षण का केंद्र
गौरतलब है कि अनिल विज के अथह प्रयासों से लगभग 500 करोड़ रुपए की लागत से अंबाला छावनी के जीटी रोड पर शहीद स्मारक किया जा रहा है।
इंटरप्रीटेशन सेंटर : सेंटर में वीआईपी रूम, शॉप्स, बच्चों के खेलने के लिए एरिया, रिसेप्शन, टॉयलेट ब्लॉक, कोर्ट यार्ड, वीआईपी मीटिंग हॉल, कांफ्रेंस हॉल, डाइिनंग हॉल होगा।
दो मंजिला म्यूजियम : म्यूजियम गैलरी, ऑडियो विजुअल हॉल, लॉबी, आफिस एरिया, शहीदी वॉल वीआईपी एट्रेंस होगी।
ओपन एयर थियेटर : 2 हजार लोगों के बैठने के लिए थियेटर, स्मारक में एग्जीबिशन हॉल, फूड कोर्ट, टॉयलेट ब्लॉक, रिर्हसल रूम, फिल्टरेशन रूम व अन्य सुविधाएं होंगी।
आडिटोरियम बिल्डिंग : आडिटोरियम के अलावा कॉफी शॉप, फूड कोर्ट, सीटिंग एरिया, लॉबी, कोर्ट यार्ड, लाइब्रेरी, ई-लाइब्रेरी होगी।
वॉटर बॉडीज : वॉटर बॉडीज में विभिन्न किस्म के फव्वारे, वॉटर स्क्रीन, कनेटिंग ब्रिज व अन्य सुविधा होगी।
मेमोरियल टॉवर : डेढ़ सौ फुट से ऊंचा मेमोरियल टॉवर होगा, यहां आर्ट गैलरी, वॉटर बॉडी, हाई स्पीड लिफ्ट आदि होगी।
अंडर ग्राउंड पार्किंग : स्मारक में वाहन पार्किंग के लिए अंडर ग्राउंड डबल बेसमेंट पार्किंग सुविधा होगी। यहां 400 कार के अलावा 20 बस खड़ी की जा सकेंगी। इसके अलावा, स्टाफ के लिए 10 क्वार्टर भी यहां बनाए जाएंगे।
अन्य सुविधाएं : स्मारक में इन्फार्मेशन सेंटर होगा और दुकानें, सिक्योरिटी रूम, टिकट काउंटर होगा। इसके अलावा, यहां वीवीआईपी के आने-जाने के लिए हेलीपैड की सुविधा भी होगी।

Art Work at Shaheed Smarak Should Be So Lively That Viewers Feel Transported to 1857- Anil Vij

Haryana's former Home and Health Minister and MLA from Ambala Cantonment, Sh. Anil Vij said that the art work at the Shaheed Smarak should commence soon and be displayed in an excellent manner, so that those who see it feel transported back to 1857, forgetting the present.
Sh. Vij was intracting with officials and representatives of the construction agency during his inspection at the under-construction Shaheed Smarak on GT Road in Ambala Cantonment, dedicated to the first war of independence in 1857.
During the inspection, he examined the civil work at the Shaheed Smarak including the museum, the 150-foot-tall memorial tower, the multi-level parking, water bodies, entrance hall, and other parts of the memorial, giving directions to the officials.
He discussed the art work with the officials and instructed them to consult with the team of historians formed to depict history in the Shaheed Smarak. He emphasized that the display of art work in the Shaheed Smarak should be excellent and the scenario from the 1857 revolution should be accurately depicted. He also directed the initiation of the process for the allotment of a food court in the memorial.
On this occasion, PWD Executive Engineer Ritesh Agarwal, BJP leaders Lalit Chaudhary, Sanjeev Soni, Ravi Saran, among others were present.
Attractions at the Memorial
It is noteworthy that due to Anil Vij's relentless efforts, the Shaheed Smarak is being constructed on GT Road in Ambala Cantonment at a cost of approximately 500 crore rupees.
Interpretation Center: The center will include a VIP room, shops, an area for children to play, a reception, toilet blocks, a courtyard, a VIP meeting hall, a conference hall, and a dining hall.
Two-story Museum: The museum will feature galleries, an audio-visual hall, a lobby, office areas, a martyrdom wall, and a VIP entrance.
Open Air Theater: A theater with seating for 2,000 people, exhibition hall, food court, toilet blocks, rehearsal room, filtration room, and other amenities will be available.
Auditorium Building: In addition to an auditorium, there will be a coffee shop, food court, seating area, lobby, courtyard, library, and e-library.
Water Bodies: Various types of fountains, a water screen, connecting bridges, and other facilities will be included.
Memorial Tower: A 150-foot-tall memorial tower will house an art gallery, water body, high-speed lift, and more.
Underground Parking: The Shaheed Smarak will feature double basement parking with space for 400 cars and 20 buses. Additionally, 10 quarters for staff will be constructed.
Other Facilities: The Shaheed Smarak will have an information center, shops, a security room, and a ticket counter. Furthermore, there will be a helipad for VVIP arrivals and departures.
