Anil Vij Rallies for BJP in Ambala

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij said that municipal council elections have not been held in Ambala Cantonment for the past seven years. Despite this, he has devoted his entire life to working as the MLA of Ambala Cantonment. 

Now, to enhance this work, he needs the support of his colleagues. Therefore, he urged people to elect BJP candidate Swarn Kaur as president and BJP candidates from all 32 wards with a significant majority.

Sh. Vij was addressing a public meeting organized near Basanti Mai Temple by BJP candidate Vikas Sonkar from Ward No. 25 on Sunday evening in Ambala. He said that neither any national nor state-level party had the courage to field candidates against the BJP in this election, and they had retreated from the contest. 

"Today, both the central and state governments are run by the BJP, and I am the BJP MLA from Ambala Cantonment. If BJP candidates win the municipal council election, development work in the cantonment will continue smoothly. 

The entire current of development projects will flow uninterrupted. Electricity reaches Ambala Cantonment from Bhakra through wires. If a rope gets tangled in between or the wrong person gets elected, not even a single bulb will light up. Therefore, vote for BJP candidates and make them victorious."

I need 66 eyes and 66 hands to work : Anil Vij

Cabinet Minister Anil Vij said that today, he is asking the people for 66 eyes and 66 hands meaning one president and 32 councilors, totaling 33 people whose 66 hands will work for development and 66 eyes will monitor progress. He expressed confidence that the public would elect BJP candidates from all wards.

Anil Vij strengthens election campaign, holds multiple public meetings.Cabinet Minister Anil Vij went all out in the municipal elections, conducting over a dozen public meetings and tea programs to campaign for BJP candidates.

He held meetings at Ward No. 6 (candidate Umed Rana in Kismat Nagar),Ward No. 21 (candidate Balinderpal in Machounda),Ward No. 25 (candidate Vikas Sonkar),Ward No. 27 (candidate Shivajeet Kakaran near Kalibari Temple),Ward No. 28 (candidate Mahesh Aggarwal in Chain Mandi),Ward No. 9 (candidate Renu Chauhan near Bhagwati Temple),Ward No. 15 (candidate Bhupesh Sharma near Banke Bihari Temple).

He also attended campaign programs for Ward No. 32 (candidate Nidhi Garg), Ward No. 18 (candidate Shyam Sundar Arora), Ward No. 5 (candidate Nanak Chand).

Energy and Transport Minister Anil Vij said that the grain market was previously located in the middle of the city, causing accidents and dust pollution due to frequent movement of tractor-trolleys. 

Three chief ministers had laid foundation stones for a new grain market, but no one built it. "It seemed like we were destined to receive only stones. But I constructed a top-class grain market on GT Road, which is now benefiting farmers."

I have won seven times – the most by any BJP MLA in Haryana

Sh.Vij highlighted that in the recent assembly elections, he was elected as an MLA for the seventh time, making him the most successful BJP MLA in Haryana's history. He stated that whenever he got the opportunity, he worked towards development.

Sh. Vij criticized Congress for teaching that India’s independence struggle began with the Congress party. He pointed out that Congress was founded in 1885 by British officer A.O. Hume, while the first armed struggle for independence happened in 1857 with leaders like Rani Lakshmibai and Tatya Tope. 

"This struggle began on May 10, 1857, in Ambala Cantonment. The British brutally crushed it by executing people, but they were never honored. After 20 years of efforts, we are now building Asia’s largest martyr memorial on GT Road."

Mr. Vij mentioned that he upgraded Ambala Cantonment by making it a sub-division with an SDM office

Establishing a secretariat with 30 government offices

Building an international-level swimming pool, football stadium, badminton hall, and gymnastics hall to ensure youth stay on the right path.He also fought a legal battle to reclaim land from Congress and converted it into Subhash Park, where people now exercise daily.

He said that "Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently emphasized weight loss in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. Today, people are reducing obesity in Subhash Park and cycling in the Gandhi Ground track we built." "Ambala Cantonment’s Civil Hospital is serving people from seven states"

To improve healthcare, he built a new Civil Hospital, transforming it from a referral hospital to a full-service hospital. The OPD count has increased from 300 to over 3,000 daily, with patients coming from seven states.

Other major projects included is Four-lane expansion of Ambala-Saha Road,Six-lane Greenfield Ring Road around Ambala to divert heavy vehicles, Bank Square in Ambala Cantonment, housing 35 banks under one roof.

Anil Vij also  said that it built a domestic airport in Ambala Cantonment. Once the election code of conduct is lifted, flight services will begin, with routes approved for Ayodhya, Jammu, Srinagar, and Lucknow. 

Major airlines have already sought approval for operations."When a city gets an airport, its development accelerates, he added. During these programs several workers also joined the BJP.
