Youth Akali Dal President Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer slammed Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann for his blatant U-turns on key promises, exposing the AAP government’s complete failure in governance. He pointed out how Bhagwant Mann had confidently claimed that he would eradicate drugs from Punjab within four weeks if elected.

“Today, in the Vidhan Sabha session, he shamelessly admitted that he now needs a few more years. This is a betrayal of the people’s trust,” he said. The same is true for illegal mining. AAP had boasted that Punjab would earn over ₹20,000 crore annually from mining, but the reality is starkly different.

“Illegal mining has skyrocketed under this government, and instead of revenue for the state, it has only benefited the mafia,” he added. Jhinjer further criticized the law and order situation, stating that crime is on the rise and corruption is rampant.

“Even AAP MLAs and ministers like Vijay Singla and Harbhajan Singh ETO have been openly involved in corruption, yet no strict action has been taken against them. This proves that the AAP government is shielding the corrupt instead of punishing them,” he said.

He also slammed the recent Vidhan Sabha session, calling it a waste of time and taxpayers' money. "For two days, Punjab witnessed nothing but hollow speeches and self-praise from AAP leaders. No real issues were discussed, no concrete solutions were provided—just empty talk while Punjab suffers," Jhinjer remarked.

Criticizing Bhagwant Mann’s absence and misplaced priorities, Jhinjer added, “On the first day of the session, the Chief Minister didn’t even bother to attend. When he finally showed up on the second day, his speech was more focused on events in Delhi that have no relevance to Punjab.

Why is Punjab’s money being wasted on political theatrics instead of addressing the real issues affecting our state?” He urged the people of Punjab to recognize AAP’s lies and failures, stating that the state deserves a government that delivers on its promises rather than making excuses.
