Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij said that "The atmosphere is in favor of BJP in the Ambala Cantonment Municipal Council elections, and we will achieve a clean sweep." He emphasized that with BJP in power at both the center and the state, and himself as the BJP MLA from Ambala Cantonment, development will gain momentum if BJP secures the Municipal Council Pradhan and Councilor positions.
Anil Vij held a joint meeting at the central election office with BJP candidates for the Pradhan and all 32 Ward Councilor positions, issuing election-related guidelines. After the meeting, he spoke to media persons, stating that all BJP candidates are highly motivated, and after reviewing feedback from the meeting, he is confident of a clean sweep in the elections.
He claimed that Congress did not even have the courage to announce its candidate list out of fear of BJP and has already accepted BJP's victory. "Some independent candidates are contesting, but it is BJP that will bring development to Ambala Cantonment," he added.
Several prominent BJP leaders, including Swarn Kaur (Pradhan candidate), Election Coordinators Sanjeev Soni, Om Sehgal, Jasbir Jassi, Madanlal Sharma, Rajiv Gupta, Surendra Bindra, Vijender Chauhan, Kiranpal Chauhan, Ajay Baveja, B.S. Bindra, and Narendra Rana, attended the meeting.

Regarding his appointment as the in-charge of Ambala City Mayor by-election, Minister Anil Vij confidently stated, "Wherever Anil Vij is attached, victory follows automatically." He assured that he would personally ensure a landslide victory for BJP's mayoral candidate.
On reports of independent candidates using his photo and slogans, Vij strongly condemned the act and confirmed that BJP candidates themselves are filing complaints with the election officer against such misuse.
Anil Vij's Sharp Response to Tejashwi Yadav's EVM Remark
Reacting to RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav's statement about scrapping EVMs if they come to power, Vij mocked him by saying, "na nau man tel hoga na raadha naachegee". He further added, "Where will they even form a government? their reality is exposed.
The people are aware of their truth. You can fool people once, but not repeatedly. The public is now wise. Since there is no tax on dreams, keep dreaming and form a government in your dreams."

In response to AAP leader Manish Sisodia's demand for better law and order in Delhi, Vij retorted that BJP will improve everything and that the curse of underdevelopment in Delhi has now been lifted.
He praised Rekha Gupta, who is from Haryana, for becoming Delhi CM and assured that under PM Modi's leadership, Delhi would achieve the status befitting the capital of such a large nation.
