Every poor person should be helped in getting educated, this will be a true tribute to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar and Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas ji.

Guru Ravidas ji talked about giving respect to poor and weak

Sh. Panwar said even hundreds of years ago, Guru Ravidas ji put forward the view of giving respect to the poor, helpless, weak, Dalit and women in front of the society. His verses will remain relevant for centuries. He had imagined a state where no one remains hungry and everyone gets food to eat.

Following these principles, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Saini is working for the welfare of the people. He said when the Haryana Government celebrates the birth anniversary of saints, the young generation gets inspiration. He said the Chief Minister is also working on the path shown by Guru Ravidas ji.

Message of equality and compassion will inspire countrymen for ages

Sh. Panwar said 648 years ago, Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas took incarnation on the Earth, and worked to bind the society together through his words and couplets. Today, his birth anniversary is being celebrated with reverence all over the world.

He participated enthusiastically in the Bhakti movement and made the society aware against the evils prevalent in the society at that time. The messages of equality, goodwill and compassion given by Guru Ravidas ji will inspire the countrymen for ages.

Sh. Panwar said Guru Ravidas ji touched every aspect of society through his verses, and his ‘vaani’ is still relevant today. His vaani proved that “Man changa to kathauti mein Ganga” i.e. if the mind is pure and clean, then the work done at any place will be pure. Internal purity is more important than external show.
