Shiv Pratap Shukla Inaugurates Children’s Park at AIR Colony

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today inaugurated a newly constructed Children’s Park at the AIR Colony at Chadwick in Summer Hill, Shimla. The park has been developed by the National Academy of Audit and Accounts to provide a recreational space for children in the area.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor appreciated the initiative and said that such a facility significantly contributes to the well-being and holistic development of children. He emphasized the need for safe and engaging play areas that promote both physical activity and social interaction.

Following the inauguration, Shiv Pratap Shukla visited the historic Chadwick House Museum, where he toured the exhibits and learned about its rich heritage. During his visit, the Governor also unveiled a special video commemorating 75 years of celebrations at Yarrows, highlighting the journey and achievements of the institution over the decades.

Senior officials of the National Academy of Audit and Accounts and members of the local community lauded the commitment of the Governor to heritage conservation and community development. Secretary to Governor C.P. Verma was also present on the occasion.
