Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij today visited the town of Sardhana, Meerut, where he attended the "Rasm Pagdi" ceremony for the late Shri Surajmal Ji, father of senior Chandigarh journalist Sh. Yogendra Sharma. During this occasion, he paid tribute to the late Shri Surajmal Ji and shared his heartfelt condolences with the family.

On this occasion, he said that the death of Shri Surajmal Ji is an irreplaceable loss to society and his memories will always remain alive. Sh. Anil Vij praised the life and works of Shri Surajmal Ji, stating that he dedicated his entire life to the service of his family and society. 

His contributions and inspiration will serve as an example for future generations. He also added that Shri Surajmal Ji’s hard work, honesty and high principles will always remain alive in the hearts of the people.

Sh. Vij spent time with the grieving family and offered them comfort during this difficult time. He said that "This is a very sad, but we must stand by each other in times of grief. The goodness of Shri Surajmal Ji and the good deeds he performed will always be remembered."

Sh. Vij provided heartfelt encouragement to Sh. Yogendra Sharma and his family, assuring them that he stands with them in all circumstances. Furthermore, Sh. Anil Vij also mentioned that in such times of sorrow, society should come together and support the family in every possible way. 

After offering his condolences to the grieving family, he personally met with the family members and comforted them. Sh. Vij expressed his deep sympathy to all grieving families and made efforts to give them courage in this difficult time. Many prominent individuals also attended the ceremony, paying tribute to the memories of Shri Surajmal Ji.
