Today is Basant Panchami, a day of enthusiasm, energy, music, knowledge, dancing with joy, singing, laughing, and spreading happiness : Anil Vij

Vij remarked that today marks Basant Panchami, a day filled with joy, energy, music, knowledge, and celebration through dance, song, and laughter. He highlighted that this day is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati and also marks a seasonal transition after the harsh winter.

Flowers begin to bloom, nature comes alive, and even animals and birds step out to enjoy the beauty of creation. Addressing the devotees, he said that "I have visited this temple before, and the organizers hold this event every year on this day.

I see that almost everyone here is wearing yellow, symbolizing the arrival of spring ‘Basant aayi, palaa udat’ (Spring has arrived, and the cold has gone). This means winter is over, the pleasant season is here, and everyone will now engage in their work with renewed enthusiasm."

Humming devotional songs purifies our body, mind, and soul, and this is the fundamental mantra of life : Anil Vij

Vij emphasized that "we always worship God, but when we do it with music and devotion, it becomes even more joyful." Engaging with the devotees, he said, "Earlier, I heard some beautiful devotional songs here.

I hope we take these songs home with us, just as we take the sacred offerings (prasad). Singing these bhajans from time to time will purify and uplift our body, mind, and soul, and this is the true essence of life."

On this occasion, Anil Vij joined devotees in dancing to the bhajan "Radhe Shyam Radhe." The devotional singers showered him with flowers as a gesture of welcome, and he was honored with a garland. Vij, in turn, offered garlands to Guru Maa Sadhvi Maneshwari Devi Ji, DiDi Meenakshi Ji, and other saints and sought their blessings.
