Each crèche is designed to accommodate a maximum of 25 children, ranging from six months to six years, with provisions for keeping them for 8 to 10 hours when necessary.
The crèches are equipped with essential facilities such as kitchens, toilets, drinking water, fans, and electricity, with a strong focus on cleanliness and safety precautions. Special attention is also given to the safety guidelines for the children.
Mobile Creche is providing full support to the department by training workers and ensuring a child-friendly environment, as well as improving all aspects of child development. Cabinet Minister Shruti Chaudhary stated that under the Creche Policy and considering the growing demand, the Women and Child Development Department is continuously working to expand the number of crèches.
