Haryana Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma said that Veta will now also produce sugar-free products, ensuring availability for people suffering from diabetes. He directed the Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation to increase the range of Veta products and give strong focus to branding, so that these products can establish a place in the hearts of people for their quality.
He also gave instructions to enhance the plant's capacity and increase the promotion of ghee from Jind, which is witnessing growing demand. Today, in a review meeting, chaired by Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, along with General Manager, and CEOs of six Veta plants, discussed in detail the progress of Veta products and plants.
The meeting, which lasted about two hours, included a thorough review where the minister provided essential directions. Dr. Sharma emphasized expanding the range of Veta products to make high-quality products more accessible to the general public.
He also instructed the production of sugar-free products for people with diabetes. Based on the growing demand for Jind ghee, he suggested increasing the plant’s capacity and focusing on its branding. Furthermore, he directed that display boards be installed at Veta plants to provide information about all products.
Dr. Arvind Sharma also said that a food product testing laboratory will be established in Karnal under the central government’s National Dairy Development Project. This laboratory will be set up at the Haryana Cooperative Export House, Agro Mall, Karnal. This facility will benefit small, micro, and large entrepreneurs in the state by enabling timely testing of food products with advanced technology.
He directed the authorities to ensure the convenience of milk producers and prevent any kind of inconvenience. He emphasized the need to increase public trust in Veta products through collective efforts.
The review meeting was attended by Federation, MD Mr. Rohit Yadav, GM, Mr. S.S. Kohli, Mr. Sanjay Setia, CEO, Mr. Vishambar Singh, Charan Singh, Mr. Rakesh Kadiyan, Mr. Narendra Dhaniya, Mr. Sukhdev Raj, Ms. Kamini, and others.
