PEC’s MENTORX Session Fuels Innovation: NextRound Secures ₹1 Lakh Funding

The Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell (EIC) of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, hosted an engaging and transformative MENTORX session. The event featured two esteemed industry leaders: Naman Singhal, CEO of AIC-ISB, and Mohit Shrivastava, founder of AdoptMyIdea and a proud PEC alumnus from the Batch of 1987. 

The session attracted vibrant participation from students, who eagerly presented their innovative startup ideas before a distinguished jury. One of the standout moments of the session was the recognition of NextRound, a promising startup that captivated the panel with its creativity and potential. 

The team was offered ₹1 lakh in funding by Mr. Mohit Shrivastava, marking a pivotal milestone in their entrepreneurial journey. The session provided invaluable insights, emphasizing the importance of practical experience over theoretical grades, the art of crafting an impactful 90-second pitch, and the critical role of customer-focused product development. 

Participants also gained a deeper understanding of market research, team dynamics, and the creation of sustainable value, empowering them with actionable knowledge to excel in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
