After the OnePlus R series launch another popular smartphone company is going to reveal its newly launched series of smartphones. Yes, you are right we are talking about POCO smartphones. The POCO X7 series, consisting of the POCO X7 5G and POCO X7 Pro 5G, was officially launched in India on January 9, 2025.

- Display: 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

- Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra.

- RAM & Storage: Up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage, expandable via microSD.

- Cameras:

   - Rear: 50MP (with Optical Image Stabilization) + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro.

   - Front: 20MP.

-Battery: 5110 mAh with 45W wired charging.

- Operating System: Android 15 with Xiaomi's HyperOS.

- Water and Dust Resistance: Rated IP69.

- Price: Expected to be under ₹30,000 (approximately $350).

POCO X7 Pro 5G

- Display: Similar to the X7 with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, but with enhanced features like HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

- Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra.

- RAM & Storage: Up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage, expandable via microSD.

- Cameras:

   - Rear: Same configuration as X7 but with enhanced processing capabilities.

   - Front: Same as X7 at 20MP.

- Battery: Larger at 6550 mAh with rapid charging at 90W, capable of charging to full in  about 42 minutes.

-Operating System: Also runs on Android 15 but utilizes HyperOS 2 for enhanced performance.

- Water and Dust Resistance: Rated IP68.

- Price: Similar pricing strategy as the standard model.

Availability

Both models are available for purchase in India through Flipkart following their launch event. Which was live streamed on POCO India's official YouTube channel.
