Dhanyawad programme at Pehowa, Nayab Singh Saini Announces Key Development Projects

Rs 10 Crore to be spent for strengthening the Water Supply Pipeline to Benefit 15 Villages in Pehowa Constituency, announces CM

Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini while addressing the Dhanyawad programme held at Pehowa on Monday said that the present state government,  in line with Prime Minister, Sh.  Narendra Modi's vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas and with the spirit of  ‘Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek’ is ensuring holistic development of the state. He said that the present state government aims  to ensure the upliftment of every citizen.

Earlier, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for four major projects in the Pehowa, worth Rs 28.62  crore. These include the inauguration of the Saraswati Canal Bridge, Kisan Seva Sadan, and a 50-bed hospital, which together total an investment of Rs 26 crore 15 lakh. Additionally, the foundation was laid for the improvement of Tokar Minor, costing Rs 2 crore 47 lakh.

The Chief Minister announced that a water supply pipeline will be laid in 15 villages of the Pehowa Assembly constituency at a cost of Rs. 10 crore by the Public Health Department. He said that a veterinary hospital will be constructed in the village Ruan, subject to land availability. He announced that a veterinary hospital will also be built in village Gumthala.

The Chief Minister announced that the PHCs in Ismailabad and Siana Saidan will be upgraded. The Health and Wellness Center in the village Thana will be upgraded to a PHC. Besides this, the government hospital in Pehowa will be equipped with the necessary medical equipment. 

The Chief Minister announced that the Bridges will be built on both sides of Chika Road across the drain. Two bridges will be constructed near village Chanalheri and on the road at Kainthla Bandh. Additionally, an amount of Rs. 5 crore has been announced for the renovation and repair of schools in the Pehowa constituency.

The Chief Minister also announced to give Rs. 10 crore for the renovation of PWD roads in Pehowa and Rs. 5 crore for strengthening the roads of the Marketing Board. Besides the above announcements, the Chief Minister announced an additional amount of Rs. 5 crore for the development works in Pehowa.

A total of Rs. 1,057 crore spent on development works in Pehowa over the past 10 yearsThe Chief Minister, while sharing the details of the development works in Pehowa during the Congress and BJP governments, shared that during the last 10 years of the BJP government, continuous efforts were made to enhance education, connectivity, and healthcare services in the Pehowa region. 

An amount of Rs. 1,057 crore were spent on development works in this region over the past 10 years, while, during its 10 years in power, Congress had only spent Rs. 353 crore in the same area.

Congress will disappear from political map in 2029, CM

The Chief Minister while targeting the Congress said that Congress leaders are involved in spreading lies. During the Lok Sabha elections, Congress lied by claiming that if Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi becomes Prime Minister for the third time, the Constitution will be scrapped. The Constitution is not being scrapped, infact Congress will disappear, by 2029.

The Chief Minister further said that as promised, free dialysis facilities were provided to kidney patients, fulfilling the state government's commitment. Besides this, the government has enacted three new laws in the interest of farmers, restoring trust between tenant farmers and landowners. 

Previously, there were disputes over land possession and compensation between landowners and tenants. With the enactment of these laws, disputes have been completely resolved. Moreover, the present state government has given ownership rights to tenants who have been occupying common land for 20 years, and we have also granted ownership rights to those occupying houses up to 500 square yards on Panchayati land in villages.

The Chief Minister said that the opposition leaders had claimed the BJP government would stop the Minimum Support Price (MSP), but the government has continuously increased MSP over the past 10 years. Furthermore, direct payments have been transferred to farmers' accounts, amounting to Rs. 1.25 lakh crore over the past decade. He said that the government recently issued a notification guaranteeing the purchase of 100 percent of Haryana’s farmers’ crops at MSP.

Earlier speaking on the occasion, MP, Sh. Naveen Jindal said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has shown the people of India the dream of making the country a developed nation, and together, we will surely fulfill it. He said that Haryana is already a leading state in terms of development, and he is confident that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Haryana will become a developed state by 2035, showing the way to the entire nation.
