More than 2,600 students of Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran, of both engineering and non-engineering streams, were awarded degrees at the 18th annual convocation of the institution which included 60-plus meritorious students. The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Guest Mr. Kapil Joshi, CEO - Quess IT Staffing, Recruitment and Search, who was accompanied by Dr. P.N. Hrisheekesha, Campus Director, CGC Landran, Deans and Directors of CGC. Students from Engineering, Management, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, and Hotel Management streams were conferred with degrees at the convocation.

Delivering his remarks, the Mr. Joshi began by congratulating all the students and their families on achieving this significant milestone. Reflecting on his journey thus far, he urged the new graduates to be ready to take on real-world challenges and to always be a lifelong learner. Underlining how resilience and patience were key to succeeding at anything, he inspired them to never give up in the face of adversities, rejections and failures.
“Work for a purpose and profits will follow, which goes a long way in creating lasting legacies and making a positive impact on the world”, he added. Mr Joshi concluded his remarks by encouraging the freshly minted graduates to become better human beings and to give back to society and communities.
Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman, CGC Landran and Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran extended their congratulations and best wishes to all the students and lauded them for making their parents and the institution proud.
